While being on injury leave I still was showing up to practice helping and trying to understand plays. After coming back from an injury, I pushed even harder on the field to maintain my starting position. Pushing myself on the field and off, taking the time to keep my grades up as well and making sure I understand the playbook at the same time.

As somebody who has been playing football since the beginning i have worked hard, always mentally coaching myself to do better. I go the extra mile to help myself as well as my teammates to become a better team weather that is putting in extra time unofficially on the field, meeting with my coaches to understand where i need to improve at, or simply coaching myself and reflecting on film. I want to prove myself on the field so my coaches can never doubt me as a player.

Reflecting on my experience I now understand that football is an on the field and off the field sport. Football is just as important as the classroom! Football has taught me life lessons that i still apply to my life now. Football has giving me a wide spread of new views on life, helping me with my time management and overcoming hard times. Football has also set me up for my college experience and hopefully my professional experience!

I can see my self playing football on the professional level. Hopefully one day achieving my goal of playing for the L.A Rams. College football will help me thrive as a man on and off the field, and help me graduate as a student of the game. Playing college football would give me an opportunity to give back to those who put me and my crazy obsession to play football forward! Overall college football will help me to understand the sport more openly than high school has, it will help expand the views that i already have from playing on my varsity football team. Pushing me through even harder challenges and obstacles that i will overcome.
