#9 East Grand Rapids wins comfortably again, this time 40-14 over Wayland Union

#9 East Grand Rapids doesn't win with style points, instead well played and disciplined football. The result is a 7-0 record with a week 1 win over Farmington Hills Harrison and a strong Grand Rapids Christian program as well. EGR's biggest win is perhaps defeating perennial power Lowell 16-14 in the 3rd week of the season.

2018 QB Mike Malewitz led the Pioneers in passing, 2018 RB Connor Davis led East in rushing, and 2018 WR Ben Forstner led the squad in receiving yards. All 3 are numerous sport athletes who have bought into the team mentality on the gridiron and will continue to keep EGR in the top tier of teams in the state.

East Grand Rapids 2020 RB John Shelton showed a lot of good flashes of what will come in the future as he finished strong - adding a touchdown.
